Please note: to issue a tax receipt for a product donation, Second Harvest must have documentation of the product’s fair market value. This can be in the form of an invoice on company letterhead featuring the item name and value, a price list (hard copy or online), or by including a price tag on the donated item. Due to Canada Revenue Agency regulations, Second Harvest cannot issue tax receipts for donations of gift cards, gift certificates, or services. *Gift cards and certifications should have a minimum of a 1-year expiry past the donation date.
